About

About Laurie Baldwin

I’m a builder and thinker focused on machine learning, natural language processing, and the psychology of language and behavior.

My work centers on applied machine learning, with a focus on NLP systems, text classification, and pattern recognition in language. I build small, practical projects using Python and scikit-learn, with an emphasis on understanding how data and language reflect human behavior.

Alongside technical development, I explore psychological patterns in communication, decision-making, and behavior. This perspective helps me approach machine learning not just as a technical tool, but as a way to interpret structured human expression through data.

I am currently developing my skills in:

  • Machine Learning (Python, scikit-learn)
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Data preprocessing and feature extraction
  • Building small end-to-end ML systems

I’m interested in building systems that are both technically functional and conceptually meaningful, particularly where language, behavior, and interpretation intersect.

My Container of Expression

Clear Mind Log

Clear Mind Logs is a personal space for reflection, curiosity, and expression. It is a container for thoughts that arise naturally through observation, experience, and questioning. A place to slow things down, explore ideas honestly, and give form to what captures attention in the moment. This space is rooted in writing, not as performance, but…
